Christopher created the brand to offer the modern working woman a chic handbag with versatility in how it’s worn. After an extensive process of researching and determining the right supplier for the brand, Christopher solidified the production of D’CHRIS bags and is working diligently to share her bags with the Denver community and beyond. 

“I had always dreamed of a handbag that would meet the needs of professional working women who need a bag on the go,” said Christopher. 

Christopher’s interests include fashion but also architecture. Her attention to detail in the creation of D’CHRIS Handbags is inspired by her passion for unique architecture. That eye for design is what makes her bags stand out from the typical handbag. 

“Fashion means to me aesthetically creative design and development of a product that has no right or wrong view of a concept,” she said. “Architectural designs and concepts that inspire me to design a bag is like the Eiffel Tower that is built to last for many years to come.”

As a result, D’CHRIS Handbags exude the essence of a timeless design that will withstand trends and phases of fashion. 

“D’CHRIS focuses on empowering women by making them feel like a boss that can conquer their dreams and desires because anything is possible,” Christopher added. 

Christopher continues to increase brand awareness by participating in local markets and events. She plans to develop new styles in a future line that will take into consideration the feedback she has received from her clients. 

Towards the end of the year, D’CHRIS is partnering with the Thirst Project, a nonprofit organization that provides clean water in up to 13 countries. Christopher will donate a portion of proceeds from D’CHRIS bags to supply clean water to communities who need it.
