We Want You To Make It Through 2025… Community Resources Guide

It’s no secret that the 2025 political climate is tense. In fact, let’s face it. This political climate is terrifying. As people and a community living through this, we need to help each other. Don’t let all the insanity of the new administration distract you or make you feel alone. Please use this list of resources to engage with your community, find safe spaces, educate yourself or others and support those in need.

If you are looking to educate yourself, take action or are in need of immediate services

Party for Socialism and Liberation

This Denver-based group is at the heart of many activist operations and supportive communities looking to break free from cycles of harmful capitalism longterm. Among their many resources, they offer direct advice for potential interactions with ICE in addition to protests, flyering opportunities and educational community events. Stop by a meeting to explore the dialogue about the current political events and maybe even decide if you want to be a party member.

ICE Activity Report Line

Among the many changes happening, upholding immigration laws are a first priority of the new administration. Immigration and Customs Enforcement can visit schools, businesses, and churches to remove people from their daily lives. Now with many individuals under direct threat of ICE raids, Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition has set up an ICE activity report line at +1 (844) 864-8341 to contact in the event of a raid. Take some time to check out the resources and information available online and learn how you can help your Denver community.

Abortion Doula Services

As more control is enforced over human rights and physical bodies, it is important to explore the safe communities that exist to provide care for your health. Colorado Doula Project is dedicated to providing logistical, financial and emotional support for anyone in need of an abortion. This trained volunteer network works much like birth doulas who assist in birth by supporting clients through their abortion experience. You can become a doula with online training from groups like DONA International and learn more about the health surrounding childbirth and life with a uterus.

Support Team Assisted Response (STAR)

Brought to Denver with the help of WellPower, STAR is a well-being focused group that supports the mental health and needs of Denver in every way it can. STAR’s hotline is made specifically to help you or someone you’ve encountered with a severe mental health crisis. Help from STAR will not result in arrest and is centered around a trauma-informed philosophy to de-escalate situations and connect folks with the resources they need. Save their hotline number (720) 913-7827 in your phone as an alternative to calling the police when you see someone in need.
