Closet Tours: Meet Wallis
Walking into Wallis Jordan’s apartment is like stepping foot into a seaside resort on your first day of vacation. Everywhere you look is a treasure that is part of her home decor and fashion collection. Enter Jordan’s closet room and it’s a fashion-lovers playground and biggest form of inspiration. With hand-painted portraits of her dog Cricket and a curio cabinet (obviously, this is what we noticed immediately) adorned with vintage Chanel jewelry from her grandmother, Jordan’s collection is truly a work of art.
As a personal stylist and former store owner, Jordan’s brand Raga the Drum transforms the homes and closets of those who appreciate style just as much as she does, but are looking for the support to bring their personal style to life. Jordan tells her clients to turn that guest room into a closet room. “Guests can stay in a hotel,” she explained.
Jordan dresses for a feeling rather than chasing how she wants to feel. “Clothes can shift your whole mindset and it’s the one space where you have complete autonomy,” she shared.
Style is her “first language. It shows the world who I am before I say the word.”
Those who appreciate fashion all have their own uniform – that look they will turn to for any occasion because it makes them feel and look their absolute best. For Jordan, it’s an oversized workwear jacket, a slip dress of any color and style, a sneaker and a Balenciaga tagged-up bag that she created herself in Berlin.
“I used to chase trends more, now I dress for myself,” Jordan said. “Growing confidence and life experiences made me more intentional about how I show up.”

The Curio Cabinet Closet Tours is a series exploring clothing collections from the best-dressed folks in Denver and beyond. We believe that entering someone’s closet is comparable to entering their mind or soul. As a result, we’re discovering the looks that make someone unique, which paves the way to understanding their personality and presence.
