Color of Fashion Season 4: Zayden Drape De Luxe

Zayden Skipper first sat down at a sewing machine in 2010 and has never looked back. His journey in creating something beautiful from nothing and evolving into a professional fashion designer is defined by his resiliency and perseverance, which will both be on display in the Zayden Drape De Luxe collection at Color of Fashion’s season 4 runway showcase on Saturday, September 28. 

After showcasing a collection defined by color and texture in Color of Fashion’s season 3 showcase at Denver’s Union Station, Skipper is back for more. His journey has included an appearance on Project Runway Season 19 in 2022 and has evolved in showcasing his collections on national stages like Color of Fashion’s. 

“Working with Color of Fashion has been an amazing partnership,” said Skipper. “This organization has truly embraced me as an artist, designer and creator. I’ve always said it is my mission to align my brand and vision with people who create spaces for designers like me.”

Skipper’s designs are a product of the inspiration and empowerment that he feels from fashion. Creating looks is his way of passing on these feelings to the women who wear his garments. 

“Fashion to me means the evolution of one’s talent to evolve and continue to learn and grow always innovate and create,” said Skipper. He is constantly innovating to construct pieces that are fresh yet timeless.
