Closet Tours: Meet Casandra

“Don’t pay full price, it will go on sale.” – Casandra Perez

To perfect the combination of making loungewear look timeless and chic is a skill we rarely see. However, here enters Casandra Perez, who executes this incredibly well. The Curio Cabinet met up with Perez at her beautifully decorated loft apartment located in downtown Denver to raid her closet. Perez wore black wide-leg flowy pants accessorized with a silver circle chain belt and an off the shoulder polyester-fabric shirt. Effortless and exuding confidence in her space, she embodied the fullness of comfort, casual and chic as she guided us into her world of accessories, relics and garments.

A Letter From The Closet – Casandra Perez:

“Fashion’s boundless creativity always intrigued me and presents endless opportunities for self-expression. Wearing an outfit that makes me feel good is a wonderful source of empowerment. I’ve always appreciated how clothes can effortlessly create a strong first impression. While I haven’t overanalyzed fashion, I admire how a single piece can be styled in different ways to reflect who you are and what message you want to convey to the world.

In the past, I mostly wore all black associating it with strength and confidence. While black does convey these qualities, it’s not the only way to do so. When I began experimenting with my clothing choices, like incorporating color and patterns, I felt even more confident and free. This approach made me stand out and reinforced my sense of strength when it came to my clothing choices. I will always love a black look, but I empower you to mix it up, have fun.”

The Curio Cabinet Closet Tours is a series exploring clothing collections from the best-dressed folks in Denver and beyond. We believe that entering someone’s closet is comparable to entering their mind or soul. As a result, we’re discovering the looks that make someone unique, which paves the way to understanding their personality and presence.

Follow along as we explore closets and if you have a wadrobe meant to be seen or know of someone that does, let us know at [email protected].
