Don’t Bring Your Lyft Driver Into the Bar

It was my third date with a guy I met on Hinge, and things were going well. Looking back on it I guess we went to the bar for all three dates which was definitely a red flag… but that’s besides the point. This time, we were at my favorite dive bar and my friends knew I was there. I had a feeling they were going to crash my date, which didn’t bother me as a non-negotiable for me is for a man I’m seeing to like my friends. What I didn’t expect is that they would bring their Lyft driver into the bar with them. Apparently, they were drunkenly telling the driver how much they liked the bar and jokingly told him to join them, and without hesitation, he parked the car and did. So it was me, my date and my friend squeezed into one side of the booth, and the Lyft driver sandwiched between my two friends on the other side. My date was not pleased and the driver was a bit of a weirdo, so we promptly had to ask him to leave. Months later, he left my friend a voicemail (is that even allowed?!).
